How we ship & process payments
At Lapland Cosmetics Oy, we aim to make your shopping experience smooth and reliable. Below, you’ll find details on shipping, payment methods, and refunds.
Shipping Information
Domestic (Finland):
We use Posti Pikkupaketti (to mailbox), Postipaketti (Posti Parcel Locker) or Posti Kotipaketti (Home delivery) services for convenient delivery.
International:
- Baltic Countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia): Delivered via Posti Baltic.
- Other European Countries: Shipped through Posti Europe, PostNord or DHL Express, if available.
- Outside EU: (UK, USA, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan) Shipped through Posti Parcel Priority or DHL Express.
Shipping Costs:
- Finland: Posti Pikkupaketti €4.50, Postipaketti €5.90, Posti Kotipaketti €10.90
- Baltic Countries: Posti Baltic €7.90
- Germany: Posti Parcel €8.90
- Posti Parcel Connect €12.90: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands.
- Other European Countries: Posti Parcel €19.90 or PostNord / DHL Express – Shipping costs vary and will be calculated at checkout.
- Outside EU : Shipping costs vary and will be calculated at checkout. Please note that orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees. These charges are the buyer´s responsibility.
Processing & Delivery Times:
- Processing: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment.
- Estimated Delivery Times:
- Finland: 1–3 business days
- Baltic Countries: 2–5 business days
- Other Europe: 5–10 business days
- Outside EU: 7-14 days
Delivery times may vary based on the choice of courier, as well as potential delays or customs processing.
Payment Information
We accept the following payment methods via Stripe and Paytrail – MobilePay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, Siirto, Walley, Finnish online bank payment, Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express):

- Payments are processed in EUR (€).
- Orders are dispatched only after full payment is received.
Refund/Return/Exchange Policy
Returns & Right of Withdrawal – Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
- You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
- The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you receive your order.
- To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by a clear statement (for example, by email). Our contact details can be found at the bottom of this page.
- To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification before the 14-day period has expired.
Return Process
- Before returning any product, you must contact us to request a return.
- Once your request has been reviewed, we will provide further instructions.
- Products must be shipped back within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as the customer is responsible for the returned goods until they have been received by us
Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging
- Products must be in resalable condition
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened or used.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Refunds
- Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
- If approved, the refund will be processed using the original payment method for the returned products only.
Product Reactions & Sensitivities
All ingredients are clearly listed on each product page. We encourage customers to review them carefully before purchasing. As skincare is highly individual, we cannot guarantee that a product will suit every skin type. Individual reactions, sensitivities, or allergies do not constitute a product defect and do not automatically qualify for a return, exchange, or refund.
If you experience a reaction, we recommend discontinuing use immediately.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order, and no later than 14 days from delivery. Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue. To be eligible, the issue must be reported promptly after delivery, and the product must not have been used beyond what is necessary to identify the defect. Once the issue has been verified, we will offer a replacement or refund.
