Our Gua Sha is handmade in Lapland from Finnish curly birch. This beautiful and unusual type of birch has a naturally patterned grain, making every Gua Sha unique.
Birch has always been an important material in the North. It has traditionally been used to make kuksas – wooden cups closely connected with Lapland and life in the Arctic. We wanted to bring this beautiful natural material into skincare and create something genuinely Finnish and different from the usual stone Gua Sha.
The smooth wooden Gua Sha is designed for gentle facial massage. Massage can help reduce the appearance of morning puffiness and leave the face looking fresh and revitalised. The natural warmth of the wood also feels wonderfully comfortable against the skin.
