Our philosophy starts here. Not with trends or marketing language, but with the reality of Nordic skin and what it genuinely needs to stay resilient. Every formula we create is built around one purpose: to protect, nourish, and support the barrier, in the conditions it actually faces.
At Lapland Cosmetics, we believe healthy skin is not achieved by overwhelming it with complicated routines or endless layers of products. It begins with restoration. We create skincare designed to strengthen the skin’s natural defences, helping skin feel calm, balanced, soft, and deeply nourished, even in the most demanding conditions.
The Ingredient at Our Core
Reindeer tallow is rare. It is also, we believe, one of the most intelligent ingredients we could have chosen. Its lipid composition closely mirrors the fatty acids naturally found in healthy human skin – palmitic, stearic, and oleic acids that support the barrier, reduce moisture loss, and improve softness and flexibility. It also contains palmitoleic acid, an omega-7 fatty acid associated with deep nourishment and skin comfort.
This is not coincidence. It is compatibility. And it is why reindeer tallow is the foundation of our barrier restoration skincare line.
Reindeer tallow is available only in limited quantities per year, sourced in the autumn. Once it’s sold out, restocking isn’t possible until the next season. This is what makes Lapland Cosmetics so unique, rare, and limited. We appreciate your understanding in case some of our balms become unavailable.
